Ahem!

I hope you didn't think that I forgot your slam against Jesus.

HE NEVER EVER BROKE THE LAW!!! EVER!

That would make Him a sinner like you or I. HE was perfect and holy. HE can/ could never break the Jewish Law!!! HE MADE IT!

What you are referring to is the Mishnah. Yes! He broke Mishnah tradition quite a bit.

Let's look at this correctly:

1. There is the WORD OF GOD. A.K.A. the Holy Bible.

2. There is the Mishnah for the Jews, and the 'Code of Canon Law' for the Roman Catholics.

JESUS MESSIAH never broke any laws from #1.

HE did break the TRADITIONS OF MEN found in the Mishnah!!!

Ahem!

I hope you didn't think that I forgot your slam against Jesus.

I hope you didn't think that anyone forgot that you couldn't correct me.

HE NEVER EVER BROKE THE LAW!!! EVER!

Except those time I explicitly mentioned, and you got far too hysterical to even attempt to debunk?

That would make Him a sinner like you or I. HE was perfect and holy. HE can/ could never break the Jewish Law!!! HE MADE IT!

So, all those people who block the abortion clinics are sinning?

Every slave who ever escaped their master was sinning?

Rosa Parks sinned when she refused to get to the back of the bus?

There's a reason your C.S.A. will never get off the ground, Shield

What you are referring to is the Mishnah. Yes! He broke Mishnah tradition quite a bit.

Let's look at this correctly:

1. There is the WORD OF GOD. A.K.A. the Holy Bible.

Do yourself two favors, Shield: Read the beginning of the Gospel of John, and insert "Bible" wherever it says "WORD."

Then, you'll have to hang yourself for committing idolatry.

2. There is the Mishnah for the Jews, and the 'Code of Canon Law' for the Roman Catholics.

Seeing how Jesus was a Jew, I don't see how "Cannon Law" would mean much of anything to him, especially seeing as how it hadn't been invented around the time he was walking the Earth.

But please -- don't let me interrupt you with inconvenient doses of reality.

JESUS MESSIAH never broke any laws from #1.

Right... because the Jews were never under any obligation to not work on the Sabbath

Guess what, people! We're down to nine Commandments!

HE did break the TRADITIONS OF MEN found in the Mishnah!!!
<<<JUST KEEPING THE RECORD STRAIGHT>>>

I would think that keeping the record straight is the last thing you'd want to do -- a twelve-year old could see the hole in your theology -- and address them with a lot less hysteria than you're used to.

SOLA GRATIA.

Weird.

I guess I thought he had spilled some potato salad on himself - and I was a little surprised both that it stuck, and that he didn't notice.

Have you seen Charlie Chaplin's move 'the great dictator'?
In one scene it makes fun of Göring's medals.
