Such crazy times we live in now.
Crazed now, to whom the people bow;
To whom they give their all support
Without much thought, not much resort.
The ins and outs of all there is,
So much of which is just “show biz,”
Illudes the people, does the trick,
So they not see who’s “in the thick.”
Deception now is everywhere.
So many, though, are unaware
That they are subjects of the ruse,
So they know not to it refuse.
For left and right do coexist,
E’en though, their side, they do insist
Is right, while other says it’s wrong,
While to each other they belong.
It’s all charade to make us think
If we take sides, we’ll raise a stink,
And we can change how the world is,
But truth be told, it’s all a trick.
The answer, it’s found in God’s Word,
The Word that many have not heard.
Believe in Jesus, die to sin,
And walk in truth, and live in Him.
Obey His word and His commands,
And on His word now do depend.
Walk in His ways, go where He leads,
And care for others, their needs meet.
Share now the gospel, in its whole.
Reject the lies, for truth they stole.
Put your trust solely now in Christ,
And leave your sins now far behind.
