On yet another beautiful sunny day, I thought it might be fun to count our blessings. Again, everyone is welcome, but try if you can to avoid talk of sex, politics and religion if possible. Baits not acceptable; genuine thanks for genuine blessings perfectly fine.
I have lots and lots.
Firstly, my darling daughter; God's greatest gift to me. Actually, she is blessing one to ten thousand. My many lovely guardian saints and angels, and hers; Ss Mary, Joachim and Anna, Cuthbert, Catherine, Alban, Margaret, Anthony, Therese of Lisieux, Louis de Montfort, Paul of the Cross and many, many more. Thanks be to God for their prayers.
After that, my home, my extended family, my car; everything that I hold in trust from God and for God. My church. Living in a country with at least some financial provision for vulnerable people. Living in a Christian land, with an established church. Peace. Sunshine. A newly mended car tyre. The Human Rights Act.
And my many friends.
