Jms.1:2 Count it all joy when you encounter various trials. Knowing that the testing of your (active) faith produces perseverance (to keep on believing).

Num.23:19 God is not a man—He doesn’t lie. God isn’t the son of a man to want to take back what He’s said, Or say something and not follow through, or speak and not act on it.

Prov.16:3 Commit your works (practices) unto the Lord, and your thoughts (plans) shall be established (stand firm).

1Tim.2:4 God will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Mat.5:44 Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Isa.34:16 Look in the Lord’s scroll and read what it says: Not one of these will be missing. Not one will be without its mate. God said he would make this happen, so his Spirit will bring them together.

Isa.28:16 Therefore thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am laying in Zion for a foundation a Stone, a tested Stone, a precious Cornerstone of sure foundation; he who believes (trusts in, relies on, and adheres to that Stone) will not be ashamed or give way or hasten away [in sudden panic]

Prov.17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength.
Being cheerful keeps you healthy. But it is slow death to be gloomy all the time.

Nehem.8:10 Neither be grieved or sorrowful; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Jer.29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you or bring calamity upon you, but plans to give you hope of favorable outcome."

Day 16

Is the sinner's prayer biblical?

Yes. Here are some encouragements.

Acts 2:21 "And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.'"

Romans 10:10 "For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."

Here are some examples.

Luke 18:13 "But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'"

Psalm 86:16 "Turn to me and have mercy on me; show your strength in behalf of your servant; save me, because I serve you just as my mother did."

Psalm 116:16 "Truly I am your servant, LORD; I serve you just as my mother did; you have freed me from my chains."
