Due to the ongoing drought and extreme heat, forecasters have predicted that crops all across the USA will produce little to no yield, this and the recent revelation that our global food inventories have dwindled to nothing has triggered a major food crisis around the world. Panicked people begin to purchase canned food fearing that prices will soon rise to ridiculous levels.

An individual has been getting media attention about his plan to create a system where everyone who joins will be fed. This plan is being widely accepted by governments who say they have no other choice but to go with this plan.
Everyone who joins will be expected to receive a micro-chip under their skin, this will be your identification and will be used to find you in case you’re lost or forcibly taken. Parents are eager to put their children under this umbrella of protection. Money is not needed and therefore can not be stolen. Those who don’t want to be part of this system don’t have to be, but they are told they will be provided for.

The system is being implemented around the world, people who have received the micro-chip continue to live their lives normally.
Those who choose not to join are encouraged to get a health screening before they will be eligible for assistance. When an individual goes to their nearest facility, similar to a doctors office, to get the health screening they are taken from the waiting room to a small room where they are told to undress and put on the robe provided for you.
Once they are in this robe they are taken to a room where they are told they are going to enter a stand up mri that will provide the information needed for the individuals health screening.
Once you are in position you can view a tv screen while the mri does its scanning, one minute later you are given an electrical shock for a few seconds to produce unconsciousness. The mri machine then tips you backwards so that you are accessible to workers who will remove you from the mri machine and lay you on a stainless steel table where they sever the major arteries of your neck to quickly remove as much blood as possible.
This is being done in many places around the world. Millions, quite possibly billions of people, will be murdered then efficiently processed into food for those who have joined the system.

Could this happen? I believe yes.

God recently reminded me of 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 11:

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

This is for unbelievers of course, but Christians must be careful of the strong delusion that the rapture will happen before “the bad stuff” (Revelation chapter 13 verses 15-17) happens. There is no way to know when the rapture will happen.

Luke chapter 21 verse 36 is our answer during these times:

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Events are happening now and Christians must be cautious! Talking to others about these events is very important and hopefully your Pastor is discussing this with you.

Remember, Israel will be a safe place!

My prediction?

The weather will either be too dry, too wet, or normal. Hard to say at this juncture.

The economy will still be at rock bottom, because we have a pack of brain-dead idiots running this country who shouldn't be allowed to manage a Little League team, let alone the government.

If crops get scarce, eh. I have a 30.06 and there's plenty of game where I live. If it's a choice between hunting out of season and starving, guess what.

Microchip implanting, that's a shrug as well. Anybody who tries to implant me will get his head handed to him and a size 10½D combat boot connecting with his posterior as he's shown the door.

I think most people actually WANT this to happen, they crave to be part of the 'insider' group, the victorious group. Most people want to be part of the winning team, in a collective battle, just like animals crave conflict and struggles in nature. In society it is much easier to just go along with the victorious group, in this case, the ones with the mark of the beast.

This is one of many scenarios that could spark panic buying. A transportation problem is more likely to cause it, because American stores and warehouses typically have less than three days' supply of food.

The US is the world's largest agricultural exporter, with twice the exports of closest competitor France. Next down the list are Netherlands, Germany, UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, Belgium and Spain. The list sounds like the 10 horns of the Beast, which I have ennumerated over and over on my thread, "The war on Israel, 1948-Present". If a major worldwide crop failure occurs, the US and its allies will probably be the LAST ones affected. Long before that happens, you will see bread riots in places like Tunisia and Egypt.

I seriously doubt that something like this will go into effect this year. Selling of just about ALL commodities is becoming more centralized into buyers' clubs and the Internet. Nationalizing (or Internationalizing) these or any industry is likely to quickly end in failure and governmental collapse. As I said, a sudden disruption in transportation is far more likely to bring this on than an agricultural one.

As for what the Bible says about this, it says:

When famines have struck parts of the world through history, It's usually the church that came to the AID of the victims -- caring for their own, and for others as well. God knows those who trust in Him. He watches over the sparrow, and knows every hair on our heads... so many scriptures tell us not to be concerned about these things. It's the people of the WORLD who will panic and do self-destructive, nutty things, long before a crisis looms. Our job is to trust in God, and to continue with the work He has called us to. The world's self-appointed job will be to blame us for all their ills, and persecute us.

What's the worst that can happen? You will die and go to heaven?

Microchips may become passé in a few years; the Bible speaks of a mark, which may be an implanted chip, optical device, any number of things. Yes, a 3½ year reign of "the Beast" (as in Pogo's "We has found the enemy, and he is us") is coming, probably not this year (read my thread); and during that time, people will have the CHOICE whether or not to receive "the mark".

Without the mark, people will not be able to "buy or sell". The scriptures don't say "...buy or sell ANYTHING". Charity can be taxed, but never outlawed, barter is always an option (though likely to be illegal), etc. Since purchasing increasingly happens on the Internet, I would guess that this is the big "store" that will restrict buying and selling. If worst comes to worst, we have the ravens to feed us.

You will KNOW when the time comes, for the False Prophet to issue his "marks": THE PRICE IS WORSHIPPING THE BEAST, OR HIS IMAGE. What is required, is a conscious apostasy. Men will "try to save their lives", as Jesus said, "and lose them".

Keep calm, trust in God, and keep speaking the truth. You may get your head chopped off in the endeavor; but this will only lead to 1000 more years on earth, ruling with our Beloved.

Unlikely. Weather is supposed to be dry in the west, but wet in the midwest, we grow crops pretty much everywhere. The US has a pretty robust agricultural system thanks to subsidies to keep it that way in case of emergency.
