hey guys, I could really use some prayer or advice or even both about this....need some advice

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Gosh be careful! You are young, think and act wisely in this, make sure this isn't something that could turn dangerous.

Gracious girl, if any man ever touched me like that I would be out of the door in a moment. I know I am very young and God is still teaching me how a man should treat a woman and likewise how a woman should treat a man, but I know that no one should ever use violence against someone...and that a man should never touch a woman (or vice versa) out of anger. I will definitely keep you in my prayers. Know that God is with you and will always guide you. I will pray that God will protect you from your husband's violence. I also pray that God will guide you into what to do with this situation and that your husband will get help.
