CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i have never been. i had a friend invite me to this years (with p.o.d. as the main event) and it sounded cool. i am goin and really looking forward to it. can ne1 give me a brief summary of how it works, and how 103 bands are there

Last year was our first year playing at it.The one in Bushnell Ill.I guess is the one your talking about.Very easy to describe.HOTTTTTT HOTTTT and HOTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh and dusty hopefully you enjoy the taste of dirt.Cause everything on you and around you will be covered in it.It's kinda a free for all not alot of organization.As far as festivals go it wouldn't be on the top of my list but certainly something to experince.We stayed down there last, this year we'll go for about 2 days thats plenty for me.

They have 6-8 stages that run most of the day. That's how they can show over 100 bands. Plus they've got 6 or so seminar tents & a skatepark & helicopter rides & a lake & canoe rentals & fireworks & merchandise tents & kids activities & volleyball courts. Basically the first year you go you wander arond in a daze trying to figure out what you want to see. It's pretty overwhelming, but it's sooo cool!!!
