Copper IUD, Vasectomy Decision Process

I was wondering if anyone could chime in on the copper IUD.
Since I'm not able to use hormonal birth control, the options seem limited.

My thought was to use a copper IUD, and probably continue with condoms, until we decide for sure about a vasectomy.

Any tips or experiences about deciding for and getting a vasectomy? We'd prefer that to tubal ligation since it's easier and my health isn't so fantastic.

Nothing to add on the IUD, but I would highly recommend the vasectomy for your husband. It's so much easier and way more likely to be permanent and effective.
