Conversations with God, part 1

So as I receive words from Him I will post here for all to read.

This particular "conversation" was rather short, as most I hear from Him usually is, but had a powerful effect on me. Praise His holy name!

As I was praying I heard the still and soft voice of the Lord say to me:

Bryan, I make you wait at times for answers to your prayers to test your faith and to show you how much faith you currently possess in Me. A time of testing is coming where only the strong of faith will endure. By making you wait in prayer I desire to draw you to Myself to prepare you for the road ahead.

wow, that is quite a word and I believe true for all of us. I have only recently returned to the world of Christian forums and have already been challenged and encouraged by some of what I have read here.

The Lord desires us to grow in Him and to draw close to Him and I can confirm that there are very hard times coming and those who have learned to wait on the Lord and to trust in Him will overcome. While the world is in confusion, we will be at peace for we know the Prince of Peace. Thanks for sharing.
