Conservative denominations?

I am looking for a conservative denomination with the following attributes:

- Bible-based (no "purgatories" or other add-ons)
- salvation by faith through divine grace (not works)
- non-charismatic
- church service dominated by sermons, not music
- considers homosexuality to be an abomination (not on the annual conference agenda) as per the biblical teachings
- no pew-filling, watered-down interpretations (or "whatever you want to believe is fine if it makes you feel good")
- Acknowledges God's holiness with reverential awe

Does anything come close or am I alone?

Sounds like maybe you're looking for a Baptist church...one perhaps of the Reformed variety?

Liturgical Lutheran church would fit the bill (LCMS or WELS).
Evangelical-Lutheran Liturgical Congregations there is a directory of all Liturgical. When you click the church in the results it will say the affiliation.

I know of a sound non-denom. assembly at Denton, if that is near to you. They hold only to Scripture and believe in the priesthood of all believers. Write me personally if you would like some infor.

good luck, we are searching for a good church. I am so tired of going excited hoping this will be the one only to leave disappointed. So many churches are only interested in filling the pews man's way, the bible says God adds to the church. I know and understand that it takes money to keep a church open, but it's God's work and God will take care of his own if only we will trust and believe in him and him alone!

Excuse me, but I am so dumbfounded. I posted on another thread that I do not like going out of my house (for a long period) and then coming home to the TV choices. I am disgusted. All I want to do is sit back relax and watch Youtube. Why don't you conservatives and liberals or whatever to hell with all the politics why don't you guys get of the computer and leave me the hell alone?

What are you talking about? Politics has nothing to do with this discussion. The person is asking for a church that follows Scripture - nothing about TV, Youtube, or politics.
