A fourth Catholic Forum. Catholics who are a work in progress. Who still have doubt about the authority of Bible, or the Church . Have an ecumenical flavour.
Not defined by pro choice or homosexuality which is just way too narrow.
For those who can still laugh at Life of Brian, the movie.
Who think God has a sense of humour. ("Moses if you break those stone tablets again, I'm going to be so angry!")

Well that is who I would welcome. Seems there are Catholics who are very certain of their Salvation. Let them post on their forums.

I like your proposal, and I can relate.
There are things I am not certain about in my own life--things I have to make decisions about, so yes, I can easily see and support such a forum.

Not me! But I live in hope....
Every day I see another whose humility , deeds or faith so far outstrip mine, I think I am back of a very long queue.
Ordinary humble Christians in ordinary life!, not just those who are well known.

Today I read of a man who makes it his business to speak to all the homeless people around him in our local area, make sure they are ok, sometimes taking food or blankets...and I think how I crossed to the other side. He deserves heaven before me. No idea of his faith, nor do I care..

Ok I was joking about the title.
But I think there is a need for Catholics in doubt. On the edge. On the fringes of mainstream.
I see "doubt" as a positive. Once I feel certain about something, I immediately doubt its authenticity. You can say that is crazy but I see it is always questioning our assumptions. Cause once we relax into that cosy feeling of absolute 100% assurance, we slacken off. We fall asleep. We think there is no more need to search.
Life is searching and having faith that our search is going in the right direction.
