I recommand you the book by John Nevin: The Mystical Presence.
Although the author doesn't support the Lutheran doctrine of an oral manducation, he defend an high view on the sacrament.
Against neo-zwinglians and their poor views on the Lord's Supper, he reminds the Reformed the orthodox doctrine of a real communication of belivers with Christ in his true body and true blood, wich are trully given with the bread and the wine.
