My life has left me with the opinion that God's communication is for God, and we are secondary in priority.
Whether it is the Bible or a sermon or a Christian speaking truth or whatever, the highest priority is God's Glory. Not clarity, not comprehension, not understanding on our part, but God glorifying himself.
Reading the Bible you will find people asking Jesus to speak clearly to them, people turned off by his parable about eating his flesh, people confused, puzzled, angered, encouraged, wowed, and in awe by his words.
But one thing we often hear and know, God has all power and can do anything. this also means he can speak clearly and plainly enough for every human being and all of creation to understand and comprehend him perfectly. So clearly He has a different desire. It's a desire to test us for His glory, and see which people with stand his tests.
His communication is for His glory (as is everything else). All else is secondary.
