I can tell by your post how faithful you are trying to be. Jesus put faithfulness alongside justice and mercy (Matthew 22:23 ). Faithfulness is a fruit of the Holy Spirit ( Galatians 5:22 ). Mother Theresa said " I do not pray for success. I ask for faithfulness. I accepted Jesus as my savior when I was in 5th grade so I guess I was 10 or 11, I am now 59. I wish I could say always walked in the ways of the Lord, but that's not true. But He was always there watching over me, and was waiting with open arms when I came came back. I am a humble servant in my church , as well as being an ordained Deacon Minister. ( no I don't have all the answers ) the reason I tell you this is because I also suffer from anxiety and depression. Two books that have helped me are Anxious For Nothing by Max Lucado and ironically it's the same title by John McAurthur that is very in depth scripturally. Also a fantastic book on prayer is Fresh Wind Fresh Fire by Jim Cymbala. May the Lord bless you and keep you, The Lord make His face shine upon you,And be gracious to you, The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace ( Numbers 6:24-26
