Come on in, the coffee's hot

Not much as of yet. My life isn't very exciting ! Probably the most interesting part of my weekend will be leading worship on Sunday. What about you...what ya up to?

nonnethign just waiting for my mom to come home with some dinner and over the weekend i am going to type up some info and fill out some paper work to go see the doc on monday hopefuly he can tell me whats up

Sorry David....I thought you had left so I signed off to go watch a movie with my family. We watched Aragon. It was kinda gross but not to bad ! To answer your question...we had chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, broccoli and cheese sauce. What about you...anything interesting?

How's everyone today? I feel quite good and positive today . Hope it stays that way! I am so happy that the sun is shining and it is starting to warm up . The only negative thing is that my hubby starts fishing next week so that means long hours away from us . The good thing is that more money will be coming in...so that's great! I miss him a lot when he is working. Thankfully we are a couple that not only loves each other but we like each other and enjoy being together. Most people look at us like we have two heads whenever they are talking about being happy to get rid of their spouce for a few days, and we say no, we don't like having to be apart! I thank God for him and our relationship!!! Oh enough of that mushy stuff .

What's everyone up to today? I don't know what I'll be doing, probably not much. Hubby is working on his boat and truck to get ready for next week so he probably won't be doing anything else. I don't know if the kids have plans and need mom to cart them around or not?

My parents are like that, too, Mask. They hate being separated. I hope that the same will go for me and my fiance, once we get married. I have a feeling that it will - he doesn't usually get on my nerves, and when he does, it's only because he's tactless and says something that makes me upset for a little while. But in the past 9 months he's made amazing progress as far as being tactful I think he's learning what not to do... after all, there is nothing like an angry woman.

Today is going quite well!! It's sunny and warm outside and that makes my mood be sunnyish too. It's so nice to see the blue sky and to be comfortable in a tshirt and sweatpants and bare feet... no longsleeves, no hoodies, no socks... I love it! Maybe summer is on her way... that would be lovely. I do hope that this summer is drier than last year's.... although to be honest, I wasn't home much last summer - went to Oklahoma for two weeks to stay with my uncle, then came back, was home for two weeks in early July, then went into treatment and wasn't discharged til the end of September. Hehe. But anyway, that's beside the point! I had a psych appointment this morning (haha, I typed "summer" instead of "morning" the first time 'round), and that went pretty well... I got some sleeping meds, so that will be wonderful! I need to stop this cycle of insomnia, because it's going to ruin school, and that's the last thing that I need.

I understand what you mean, Mask, when you say that you get all the yucky stuff from the people whom you help counsel. That's going to be one thing that I'm going to try and avoid - a counselor needs to keep professional distance, so s/he doesn't go on emotional overload. At the same time, though, you need to be emotionally close to your client... so I'm definitely going to have to work at figuring that one out! I'm not that great at it now, but I'm better than I was... I had a breakdown awhile ago due to me getting too close to someone who wasn't getting any help for problems, and about whom I was very worried. And this was online too; I can't imagine what it would be like in real life. Guess I'll find out sometime soonish.

We might be going for a hike tomorrow... that would be lovely. *smile* It's supposed to be a lovely day again, I think. ♥

I think I'll settle down in this corner, here, and write in my journal while I drink my Pepsi Jazz.

its ok i read that book it was ok not bad but not good it was ok. as for today not much just hanging around and fill out some papers.

*Hugs Soulwings back* : ) I'm very good today. I had a great day at work and went to a lovely church service afterwards. Then my grandma and I laughed our bums off at silly things and I got a stationary bike off the side of the road (it's in horrible shape but it's better than nothing). I'm really excited for prom. It's a week from today. How's everybody else?

Hey, everyone. How are you all doing? I'm too lazy to read through five days' worth of posts, so I figured I'd ask y'all instead. As for me, it's stress city. I have three different projects, three different papers, and one oral presentation to complete by (or before) May 10th...yikes! I know I can do it, though. With God, I can do anything. Also, I'm going to a friend's church tomorrow. She's the worship leader there, so that will be interesting. It's an evangelical church, though, which is not my favorite kind (in fact, I'm pretty strongly against evangelicalism), but I'm trying to keep an open mind about it all.

Also, could you pray for my aunt? She's sick (vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness) and she's watching my cousin's five-month-old daughter while my cousin is at a friend's wedding in Mexico, and I just really hope that what my aunt has isn't infectious, because I don't want Skylar (that's my cousin's daughter's name) to catch it, especially when my aunt is already out of it and unable to fully care for Skylar. So could you pray for my aunt (whose name is Barbara) and my first-cousin-once-removed (Skylar)? Thanks bunches in advance!

Heh, I have a weird rash I developed last night. I think I must have used some lotion or soap or something that my skin doesn't like because now I'm itching like crazy. And as much as I should be worried, and normally would be, I can't help but laugh at it.

Hello everyone! How are you all today?

I'm good. Went to visit with friends this morning. That was nice. The only negative was, some of the smells kinda gave me a bit of a headache and a burning tongue!! I know it sounds weird but I'm a bit smell sensitive so strong perfumes, scented candles, bounce sheets, etc. make me feel gross !! I might go out to a scrapbooking/card making party tonight.
