College work thread

This a thread for folks to vent their frustration about college assignments ie: research papers, presentations, tests etc...


Me I get to spend this weekend writting a research paper woo hoo! 2000 words (not too bad). The best thing about this is it will all be over Monday!

I get to spend the weekend trying to comprehend old style spanish vernacular literature....I am horrible at literature in english mind you.

I get to live, eat, and breath organic chemistry while simotaniously working out my transfer stuff.

Wouldn't be so bad if I had the time to do it...

Here's what I am doing this weekend:
1.) Finish my writing portfolio (entails revising 3 essays as well as composing a reflection piece)
2.) Finish a critical analysis research paper on the Elephant Man
3.) Start reading the Red Badge of Courage
4.) Read Death of a Salesman
5.) Begin studying for a general chemistry exam
6.) Write a cover letter for a student-worker job application
7.) Remeber that there are only two more weeks of this.
8.) Feel accomplished when all of it is done.

Ahh...the life of an English Ed major/Chem minor.

Does it seem that most of your teachers pile on the homework at the end of the semester? Mine sure do!

I have to watch ten videos of dogs with neurological problems and be able to diagnose where the problem is and what category of disease it is. This is worth 50% of our grade and we can't work together on it. AHHH, I knew I should have listened in class.

There's stuff for my other classes but I can't even think about them right now.

Dead week = you'll be dead by the end of the week.

BTW - thanks for giving me somewhere to vent!
