I can agree with that.Yes, but normally it seems that people discredit both Muse and Coldplay for their sound. Personally, I don't think either are trying to sound too much like Radiohead. Plus, I'd rather hear a band with a Radiohead influence than a band with a strong Green Day influence.
Coldplay had some of the best singles in popular music over the past several years. I enjoyed seeing "Yellow", "Clocks", and "The Scientist" getting a lot of airplay. Plus, the band seems to compose good, complete albums.

I wasn't saying that to try and discredit the band so much as I wanted to put an end to some of the comparisons they get. I think they have a distinguished sound that is different than Radiohead and I think it is unfair to both bands to compare their sounds. I have Parachutes and Rush of Blood to the Head and I listen to both on occasion. They are decent releases. I have yet to hear X&Y though.
