I just opened the CNN app, and the first story was an opinion piece (called analysis) about Trump.

For a news site, you’d think that they would start with news, especially with all that’s happened the last few days.

Your internet history, collected by google and various spyware, propably caused their algorythm to calculate that this story was most likely to keep you on their website for as long as possible.

So really, you only have yourself to blame.

Their main focus as been Stormy lately, even when much more important things have been going on. And I don't even mean pro-Trump, but major world events, they cut to Stormy.

So maybe it is just you.

Alright then, since you want to take this seriously. The app remembers your last selection across their top banner, and re-opens that selection when you re-open the app. I will go out on a limb and suggest your previous visit to the app ended on the opinion page.
