Clonazepam cold turkey.

I'm going cold turkey on clonazepam (klonopin/rivotril) and have been using a dosage equal to 8 Valium 3 times a day and even higher earlier for about 2 years.

I ask God to take away my withdrawal symptoms. And are going to ask my doc tomorrow to get 2 weeks with Phenobarbital to prevent seizures that could damage my brain or kill me.

I am so glad to hear you will be seeing a doctor as the is one of the most dangerous drugs to withdrawal from, and very hard to as well. I was on this drug for 2 years as well, and being the addicted personality I am I started drinking which can be lethal.
It may take a year or so for your brain to start making the normal endorphins as it was getting them through chemicals and changed itself to be a norm to accommodate the drug.

You will need to find ways to relax. For me I took long lavender baths and listened to very calm music ( still do). AA is awesome even if you didn't get addicted yourself, because you learn all of the garbage our brain tells us to use again and can understand what you are going through better. Walking, or stretching, exercising, finding a hobby. ect.

I'm glad you are doing this with a doctor's help.
You are a very strong person, brother, or you wouldn't still be here! You can get through this, keep going, and come here when you need support, there are many who will understand.

I'm glad you have decided to get off Klonipin. I was on it for awhile but not as long as you were. That is great a doctor is helping you. I was scared at first when I saw the title with cold turkey in it, now that I know you are also getting pheobarbitol I see you are doing it safely. Best wishes to you.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I missed my doc appointment, but at least i got a psychiatric nurse that is working to get some help from (hopefully) a psychiatrist (really could need a specialist in medicines right now) and going to drive me to the appointment.
