Does anyone here besides me clog? Clogging is like tap, but the taps are a little different.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I do irish dance, which i hear is similar to both clogging and tap, but one time, my friend who is a clogger looked at my hard-shoes and told me they were the weirdest things he'd ever seen.

The clogging taps have two taps on the heel and two on the toe. One is loose and dangles a little.

Yea, for example, what tap dancers call a 'shuffle', cloggers call a 'double' or a 'run' depending on where you live.

I just started clogging a few weeks ago and apperently it is a talent God gave me and I didn't even know about it.
I used to do some Irish dancing in high school, but not much. I'm picking clogging up fast and LOVE IT! I am so excited to start to CLOG FOR GOD at some local Christian events with another girl in the group who is also a Christian.
They invited me to participate with them at the local secular festivals coming up in 2 weeks. They do about 12 events every year.
