CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't know that much about him except for his music -
apparently he's had a little controversy over his divorce and ministry but anytime a high profile Christian goes through a divorce there will be lots of accusations made over many different issues.
Many are critical over his "lavish" lifestyle as they call it - but if a secular musician made the same kind of money and had a sports car and a bad boy house no one would ever give it a second thought.
I would visit his church if I had a chance - looks like a good one to me.

Heathans are allowed to have so much money it's coming out their nose...and they are looked up to and envied. A Christian has money (and came by it Godly) and they are spit upon.

Thats one issue...if he came by it honestly.....
We recently left a church after 8 years and he is the covering of the pastor there. I was in leadership there and saw some things that...didnt seem right. I was just curious if anyone else knew anything of him....

I had a good friend that was in ministry in his church, and they left it because of some unethical stuff. She didn't share what with me...but I trust her enough, that if they left, it was HUGE>
