  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

anybody know if they work?

Thanks.

The technology makes sense to me. I work for a local Fox affiliate and we've been broadcasting all of our stations (Fox, MyTV, Univision, Telemundo, Telefutura and ThisTV) in a digital signal for years, which is what the ClearTV antenna is made to receive.

If all you're interested in is your local broadcast networks like ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and maybe channels like PBS then you should be okay. Don't expect any premium channels like ESPN, CNN, MSNBC, BBCUSA, etc since those are exclusive to cable and satellite plans.

Between Netflix, Hulu and ClearTV though, I think it kind of makes sense. If you like sports though you're not likely to get it unless it's airing on one of the aforementioned networks.

No problem! I would take what I say with a grain of salt since I haven't personally used it, I would do your due diligence and find some credible reviews just to be on the safe side. In essence, the technology makes sense but there could also be a better/cheaper alternative too. :)

Sports? Run a HDMI cable from your computer to your TV and go to Front Rowsports.com..All of the sports you can ask for,and it is free.

I was looking into this so as to save money on the cable service I now have.
I passed. You have to be within 16 miles of a local broadcast station in order to pick up stations. We live much further than that away from the nearest station so it would be worthless to us.

It's also important I think to consider other peoples experience before you commit your money.
