  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What classes are you all taking?

I am taking Biology with a lab, intermediate algebra, fitness for living, introduction to social work and the class I am really looking forward to is juvenile delinquency.. it should be interesting to see how I do in that class considering I work in a detention center

I'm taking electric circuits analysis, digital logic circuits, differential equations, principles of accounting, macroeconomics, intro to renewable resources, and ee lab. For the first semester since I started college, I'm really enjoying all of my classes (probably since I am now into my major classes instead of just core classes).

Anatomy & Physiology II w/ lab, Business Statistics, Intro. to Music, and Into. to Computer Applications....This is my super easy semester. The last 2 are basically are just filling space because I needed the hours and I'm pretty much done with all of my classes that I need to get into nursing school. Just one more left...Organic Chemistry. I'm taking that one by itself this summer.

I'm taking Adolescent and Adult Development, Social Psychology, Intro to Sociology, Crisis Intervention, and Marriage and the Family.

I think I'm gonna enjoy this semester...with no gen-eds!

Working at the airport and finishing up my Commercial Pilots license and beginning training to become a Certified Flight Instructor.


Humanities... ugh. That word is stricken from my vocabulary due to the useless waste of breath prof I had for that last quarter.
