Church Membership!

I'm excited because Josh (my fiance) and I are starting our church membership course this morning. We've been attending a Lutheran church in our area since last spring, and now we're going to become official members. I'm excited, just thought I'd share!

Congratulations! It's always exciting to settle into a church home. I'm still praying to find one. I haven't had a permanent church home since I left the Baptist Church four years ago.

We had our first class today and it was a lot of fun, quite a group of people, and a small world too, one of the ladies there worked in a dentist office that I went to as a kid!

i know how hard it is to find a good church that you can call your home so congratulations.

You have to take classes to become a member....I dont get it.

Congrats though...sounds like a very cool way to meet and make new friends

It just goes over the basics of Christianity, and it is a way to meet other people in the church! A lot of the people in the class have been going to the church for a couple years.
