WOW! I just beat the game The chronicles of riddick escape butcher bay and what a game.The best graphics ever.But halo 2 and half life two are going to be better graphics but until then this game does have the best graphics.Amazing gameplay elements action realism everything
in it if you have an xbox GET THIS GAME YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPONTED!

I very much doubt it does have the best graphics ever, thats impossible on a console. They have poor hardwear, PC games invariably have significantly better graphics.

True, though I think the quality of PC graphics is due as much to high resolution monitors as hardware. It would be impossible to put a PC with identical hardware next to an XBox and get the same quality graphics as consoles can have game graphics tweaked for specific hardware and much superior to a PC with the same hardware.

But you are right in that a bleeding edge gaming PC will easily blow XBox out of the water.

From what I can tell, Doom 3 has some of the best Graphics available, along with Half Life 2.
And COR does not really appeal to me.

Let's not compare games that haven't been released to the current stock of games.

But, if you want to play that way. Half life 3's graphics are gonna so totally 0WN! Far Cry's graphics!!

Yes, but when their are screenshots, trailers and gameplay footage for games that will be released in the next few months, I think it is justifiable to compare them, seeing as they are being created on a simlar time line using the same hardware.

After actually lokking at some screens, they seem comparable to Deus Ex 2, pretty shiney, but no where near the best ever.
