It's amazing to me that the atheists and those wrongly quoting separation of church and state have such a problem with the term "Christmas Tree". Again historical revisionists have completely lost their sense of reality and historical fact. The american public simply follows along like a puppy behind its master.

The same people that are quite un-happy with religious term "Christmas Tree" seem to be very happy with the term "Holiday Tree". I cannot wait to see the reactions on their faces when they come to the wonderful realization that the word "Holidays" was also taken from the Christian world. It originally meant "Holy Days". They haven't even researched the term that they have decided to embrace. I wonder what will happen when they are met face to face with the religious term they have decided to accept?

"Merry Christmas" is offensive but "Happy Holidays (Holy Days) is not. Go figure!

Haha that's funny...

I've been hired to play piano for a Pagan wedding on December 21 and the woman is VERY against even, as she says it, "church-sounding music". Haha what is that? Little does she know that the little tune that I'm playing for her walking in has lyrics that go like "O Lord, dear Lord, we come before You now to offer You a sacrifice of praise..." but it doesn't sound church-y so she's ok with it

I personally think it is rediculous that they want to call them "holiday trees". I mean come on! That is so rediculous! All well, Lowe's has changed their minds about calling them holiday trees and starting next year, will call them Christmas trees again according to an e-mail from the American Family Association. I signed a letter and I think a petition and sent it to them from www.afa.net about taking Christ out of Christmas and apparently, it is reaping some benefits!
