  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

In honor of the Christmas Season I am offering Christmas Blessings and Reps.

Blessings for each 100th post:

Blessings for hitting each 100 post mark.
100 post mark ==> 100,000 blessings
200 post mark ==> 200,000 blessings...
900 post mark ==> 900,000 blessings
1000 post mark ==> 1,000,000 blessings

In subsequent threads the prize winnings are incremented by number of thread.
Thread 2 example: 100 post mark ==> 100,000 x 2 = 200,000 blessings
Thread 3 example: 100 post mark ==> 100,000 x 3 = 300,000 blessings

Reps for posting in this thread:

Each day I will REP those that are not maxed out yet.
I will spread the rep around between different users.
Remember one person can only rep 40 times a day.

Let other newbies and low rep folks know to post here.
I suspect others may also use this thread to rep folks.

Ice skating can be fun, but sorry, I don't want to just watch. Don't get me wrong, they can do amazing things on those little skates, but it's just not something I want to watch - even at the Olympic level. :sorry:
