On November 1st, 2:17 A.M., a collision took place on Fifth Street. Authorities found the body of young student Christine Spencer, 19, at the intersection of Fifth and Prospect. Spencer (pictured above) was a passenger a vehicle driven by a Jeffery Dickson, 23, with other passengers Emily Turner, 18, Timothy Mase, 19, and John Turner, 20. All were under the influence of various substances of different levels. Spencer's blood contained alcohol, Ketamine, and MDMA, commonly known as Ecstasy. Witnesses reported the group leaving the major Washington night club Club Radius and entering the 2004 Dodge Neon. The car was found soon afterward rolled into a telephone pole. None survived. Spencer was taken to Mercy Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 3:48 A.M.
