I like to make note of science Fiction movies or TV show episodes that deal with Christianity as an intregal part of the plot. Some years ago I'm sure I saw an hour long TV show called "The Star" based on a short story by
Arthur C. Clarke written in 1955. The episode deals with space explorer's who come upon a dead planet whose inhabitants were destroyed by a super nova. Turns out
the super nova was "The Star" of Bethlehem. A clergyman on board the spaceship had a hard time with that, at first.
It seems to my best memory that this was an episode of the "new" Outer Limits, however, I can find no listing of it.
Does anyone else remember ever seeing the TV show, and know who produced it?
Thanks & God Bless,
Lordgate

"you don't fix faith River, faith fixes you" --- Sheppard Brooks to River Tam Firefly, episode 9 or 10....

and yes it wasn't the best, but it was good......

a mixed relgion, with some Christian Elements was Andromeda's "The Way/Wayist" thing.....

Fantasy works, usually dragon slayers are Christians, even if there faith isn't clearly annoucated.... The Last Dragon movie with Sir George, he was a Chrisitan Knight and brought the egg to a nunnery for safe keeping on his journey to the king.... then he and a nun(who leaves the nunnery) save the dragons out of "Christian Love"

Friar Tuck of course in all the Robin Hood movies....

Their's an anime of a future version of "The Count of Monte Cristo" I haven't seen it.... but if it stays faithful to Dumas works, then Faith, the Priest's words to Dantes, and Themes of Forgiveness, and Betrayal will abound.....

any Arthurian story worth it... will have Lancelot, and other Christians(Taliesin, prequel character)...... they are Fantasy works....

it's easier to come up with Fantasy with Christians than SciFi.... but Firefly, Time Traxx, Quantum Leap(Christmas and Halloweven episodes), and some other shows do have single episodes or recuring themes with very Christian elements...... Time Traxx's connection? I can remember at least one epsiode where Darien Lambert saved a preist's life..... or 7 Days(pretty raunchy at times, and other times irrevant) did have the whole thing with Rameses faith, and others that were Christians of a sort.....

that's my .02 cents

Babylon 5 has a couple of episodes that if I recall correctly touch on Christianity: Passing Through Gethsemane and And The Rock Cried Out, No Hiding Place. I can't remember exactly what the spiritual content of those episodes was though.
