Ok, I don't want anybody who thinks Christiana rock and other types of Christian music are good and ok to respond to this. I only want the people who don't believe it's right to respond. I was against that kind of music whole-heartedly, but now an argument has come up that makes sense to me, and I'm not sure anymore. So, I need to: where in the Bible does it say that Christian rock or whatever is wrong? What arguments do you hold? And, it has to be backed up by the Bible, or else I'm not going for it. Thanks!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think you should clarify: do you want arguements for why it is wrong for Christians to play rock music or arguements for why it is unbiblical to make a moral distinction between sacred and secular music? I think Christian rock is silly, but not because it is wrong for Christians to play rock.
