Christian reviews

[Vilnius]

Does anyone know where I can go online for Christian reviews of older movies? I use Netflix, and they give the R, PG, etc. ratings, but they do not indicate what a movie did to get its rating. I would like to know if a movie has nudity or even if female cast members are dressed provacatvely so I can avoid those movies.

I used to read Christian reviews from a different site, but never would have known they were using Christian standards.

I find that the giant secular imdb.com (internet movie database) has more reliable rating comments than some reviewers! Look for the blue button that says MPAA (Motion Picture Association) and it will say things like "rated P-13 for raunchy humor and drug references."

I went to the site, but could not find the blue button for MPAA. I was searching the movie "A Fish Called Wanda". Did I miss it somehow?

Oh sure, it doesn't show up when you really need it. Maybe they introduced the detailed rating system later. I remember the movie being very funny but risque...haven't seen it in years, though. Not good for 12-year olds, but probably ok for later teens? I forgot.
