Christian music reference book(s)?

Hello,

I'm a music lover, and have a few books which take a music genre, like Jazz or Heavy Metal, and breaks that music world down by artist. The book would then list all the albums by each artist and provide a review of some kind for each album. Has anyone ever heard of something like this for Christian music? I would find this extremely useful myself.

haven't heard of that, but i presume it would be really useful. just think, you enjoy artist X, and you'd like to find other artists who dound the same... just go to a website and there are recommendations by other people, and music arranged in categories, etc...
