I don't know of any Christian band that sounds like old Metallica. Mortification is pretty awesome. They've done quite a range of metal over the years, they're getting back into the death metal now. Here is where you can download some of their songs, 100% legally. I recommend Terminate Damnation, it's one of their best.

I actually laughed my ass off reading the song titles like "there is 666 trees in my forest", "she waits for me behind a tree" and "I'll go for another walk on my grave". They are so purposely cliché

Note that it's a concept album, and the lyrics are based on the bands they are referring to. The other albums are more serious. (I suppose you do know of Burzum and Mayhem). The song of BMIK called Seven Tears Are Flowing To The River is more Kanwulf's (man behind Nargaroth) style:
