Looking for fellow hockey fans. Do you play? Have you ever played? Favorite team?

I played in the San Diego Floor Hockey League last year. In high school I was a USA hockey referee.

I don't know if the OP is still around, but we're a family of fans here. My son plays (4-6 year old group), my husband and I both play in an adult league, and we're all Flames fans. I also like the Islanders (grew up in NJ as an Islanders fan).

Yes...hockey rules! Of course, I know you are referring to ice-hockey and I am a Blues follower since the early '70's. But did you know....field hockey is the second largest men's team sport in the world, behind soccer? I was not raised on skates, but was introduced to field hockey when I was a teen. Wow, I could play hockey and not have to skate! Both hockey's are AWESOME! I was blessed to represent the USA for several years and played in international competition in the US, Canada, central America, Australia and Europe.

To God be the glory for those experiences - -I was not a follower of Jesus during those years, but I look back on them now, and I know that HE was with me, even when I did not really know Him. Thank you Jesus!!
