Dear Christian Forums Members,
This whole week is considered one of the most Holy times for Christians. It is when we remember Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper with His Disciples, His trial, His death, and His resurrection. For Christians, Jesus dying on the cross and then being raised from the dead three days later is what His Life was all about.
The staff realizes that not all the members here are Christians. In fact, it is that we allow those with other beliefs to participate that makes us such a diverse forum. But I mention the above to explain something else.
Today is Good Friday, the day when Christians reflect on Jesus' brutal death. And with that, the staff makes the following announcement:
Sunday, April 11, 2004 (Easter Sunday) will be Christian Forums' Amnesty Day. All those members who were banned for racking up a certain number of warnings will be unbanned. This does NOT include members who were banned for spamming, trolling, spreading Nigerian scams, and other reasons similar to that.
As of today all warnings on EVERY member of Christian Forums will be erased. We believe Christ died for our sins. His death erases all those sins we've committed. Likewise we wish to "wipe the slate clean" in regards to the warnings members have received up to this point. Any warnings given out after this announcement will stand. But those given out before will be removed.
I'm sure word will spread fast about Amnesty Day.
So I do want to make one final note. As the names are unbanned on Sunday, I will be doing it from home via dial-up early Sunday morning. It's likely I won't get to all the potential candidates before I have to head to bed (so I can get up for church in the morning). If that becomes the case, I will do what is left Sunday evening. If you know of someone who was banned, who felt they should be unbanned, and who can not get to CF after Monday, please either drop me a PM about it or send a message through "Contact Us" and I will look into it.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me via PM as well.
Thank you and may everyone have a great holiday weekend!
