  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, I have been a Christian since February of 2005. I have been divorced for 3 years after being in a emotionally & physically abusive marriage for two years. I got married way to young!! I dated in the secular world, clubs, bars... Since becoming a christian I feel it is time to start dating again. This time do it right and go out with christian men. Besides church, where are good places to meet christian guys?

If you like music you could always find Christian bands and find out where they are playing. That will usually attract a nice crowd of Christians. Other than that, I'm not sure. Church is probably better because you can get to know them and not just meet them out at a random place. If you let your friendships blossom, they might turn into something, rather than going out to try to find Christian guys.

I'm sorry your last relationship ended on bad terms. It's great you are ready to start dating again.
