  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Do you think Parents and Children would be interested in a fun, colorful Christian Comic Book that follow a young boy and his life with Christ?
As a life long comic geek who has read more than a few Christian comics, I have to say, maybe, depending on how it is done. I have read comic adaptations of the bible, which generally suck. They tend to summarize passages and use the comic to preach, they are not very good. Robert Crumb however did a comic version of the book of Genesis which was awesome. He kept the bibles text as is and illustrated every verse. It was the only bible comic I've read that stayed true to the source material.
Other Christian comics that portray believers also tend to suck. Years ago Archie comics did a Christian version called Archie's One Way, which was preachy and detracted from the story. Most Christian comics have the goal of converting the reader and not telling a great story. The only long running Christian comic is marvel Comics Daredevil, who is Catholic.
Though I do love Jack Chick tracts, those are awesome.
