Christian Broadway stars?

I am 13 years old, and someday, I want to be on broadway. I am trying to find a role model, but it seems like everyone who is big on broadway is really messed up. Do you guys know of anyone who is a Christian star?

Heather Headley, who won the Tony Award for playing Nala in The Lion King AND for playing the title character in Aida, is a born again, Pentecostal Christian.

OH! There is Kristen Chenowith (sp?) who played Glinda in the Tony-winning musical, "Wicked." She an amazing article in Guideposts magazine about how Christ has led her through some really tough times.
Like this one time, she could have gone to this really prestigious drama school but the week she got accepted, she also got an offer to play a lead role in "Your A Good Man Charlie Brown." She felt Christ was telling her to do the show instead of the school and so she did. Though it looked like a bad idea, she ended up winning a Tony for her role in "Charlie Brown."
Neat, huh? I just love this woman! She has got an awesome voice and a million dollar smile.

Oh, and when "Lion King" came to my city, almost every cast member had written "God is good" or "Glory to God" as their quote in their mini biographies. Maybe that's the key to their HUGE success!

I didn't know Heather Headly was a christian. I saw her on broadway as Aida. I love that play, it's the best one I know. I don't know about any other christians on broadway, though. I'm like you, I love to sing and act, but I can't find any good role models.

im not Christian, but i do know that Kristin Chenoweth is a great role model for anyone (including myself!). she is an absolutely hilarious actress (so funny in Wicked), an absolutely amazing singer (she can do like 4 octaves) and really really nice in real life!
