  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

:preach:
Beware of losing the important of spiritual things. There are many believers on the road to lethargy. Lethargy is an insensitivity, a drowsy dullness toward God, a lack of spiritual energy, and sluggishness in activity.
Lethargy comes out of our inner being when we say," I won't go to church today. I have other things to do." Yes! it is easier to stay home when it is hard to generate excitement and zeal for the things of God. Let us not neglect our Sunday worship as some Christians do. Let us encourage and warn each other of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. There are many of us who stand aloof and become an observer saying," I can't get too involved; I'm more or less neutral."
Christian! there is no neutral ground. We are on one side or the other. Let us rise up in the name of our Lord and reach out to the lethargic. Let us be like Peter and Paul who followed Jesus and cared for others to the point of laying down their lives.

Amen to that. I've been guilty of being complacent and half hearted often without knowing it.

Let's not lose that spiritual energy that we have in Christ but onstantly be joyful for He has saved us from the warth to come, the wrath that we so deserved. We have been saved by the grace of God and that is unspeakable joy in Christ.

Let's be strong in God, the Holy Spirit will manifest Himself to us when we are weak.

Every day is the Sabbath now!!! Every day is just as Holy as any other day!!
Remember what Jesus said to the little Samaritan woman at the well?? When she "perceived" He was a prophet (after He rebuked her gently about all her men)she got all religious and start asking about Church!!You Jews worship at the temple but we worship at this moutain over here. This is where He gently rebuked her again. He said woman one day man shall worship in Spirit and in Truth!!!Not a certain building are a certain time, but all of the time where ever you go. Jesus came to destroy Temple worship and the idea that God was in a building!!! I could go into great detail here, but I cant type as quick as I can think. One reason the Jew's did'nt beleive He was the Christ is because He did'nt come and set up a temple like every other king done in the past.He was kicked out of just about every synagouge (church organization) He went to because He told them what His Father told Him to say. When he told the religious people He would tear the kingdom down in one day and rebuild it three days ,thats when they got really mad!!We are Temples(individually and as a whole) of His Holy Spirit now, not Church buildings are religious orginizations. The reason people go to church so much is cause they feel like they done "The Right Thing" are get "Connected" (New Age terms). You see we dont go to Church but are a part of Gods Church if He lives in us.It suppose to be an oganism, not an organization. If two are three are gathered in My name I am in the middle of them Jesus said.We should be like the Apostle Paul said "walking epistles", testomonies wherever we go!!! Jesus told the pharasees and religious leaders(after they complained His disciples were breaking the law by picking wheat and eating cause they were hungry)one Sabbath day,and Jesus rebuked them and said that He was even Lord over the Sabbath!!!So, you see Jesus is to be your Lord every day,not just a "Normal" Christian that goes to Church every time the doors are open(another tactic that pastors use to put people under a guilt trip and condemnation and to show there superiority over people) led by Him every where we go!!!He said I would put My laws inside of your heart and minds, not a place are a thing, are a building, are a temple ,but a new heart!!!If this did'nt shed any light on you, I at least just encouraged myself!!!Hope to hear some feed back from any body........

well done Analogman,
I was thinking for a long time, the same thing. Jesus said, that those bricks, rocks, blocks would not stand one on another. Gods house , Gods temple, is within man. those of us who have Gods spirit. blessings

Thanks Busybee,
I was hoping I didn't come off as sounding to harsh!!! Its good to know that Im not "off track" too much. I know that God has been "drilling" this into my mind for quiet a while. Its very encouraging to hear other brothers and sisters in agreement to some of the things The Holy Spirit is teaching me! Hallelujah!!!
