Hi,

I have a webpage I'm writing a music column on. Being new to christianity, I want to promote it through song.

What christian bands/singers are popular that I could show in my column? What style is their music?

All ideas welcome!

DC Talk is not rock. It is pop. Kutless is rock. P.O.D. is reaggae influenced rock, and their old stuff is rapcore. No Innocent Victim is hardcore, and Mortification has done all kinds of metal over the years.

I'll tell you of my favorite group of all: The ApologetiX! They are a Christian-parody band. If anyone is unsure of what a parody is - it's taking words to secular songs and re-writing them into Christian lyrics. They are the best band ever!

DC Talk is rock, Kutless is hard rock, and I thought P.O.D. was dead in the music world ...hadn't heard any hype from them for a long time.

Orphaned Land - a metal band with its own unique style. Their lyrics are about Christianity, Judaism and Islam.

Immortal Souls - melodic death metal. Not very well known, but really good.
