Christian bands reaching out to the lost

Hi,

Are there any Christian bands that you know who play at venues such as bars and clubs to reach the lost. I know of a lot of Christian bands that just play at church events and festivals. If there are any or you have been to one of these what was it like? What was the atmosphere like? Were they accepted well by the crowd?

I have been to many concerts but not ones where they were actually in those places. They did witness though and it was a I believe one would call it a "ministry" but it was at a Church, Field, ect.

Out of the last 4 Christian concerts I've been to, 2 of them have been at bars. At those shows were bands like: Dead Poetic, Fire When Ready, March of Flames, MewithoutYou, Lovedrug, and a couple other I'm sure I'm forgetting. Basically those who play music that would appeal to those who go to bar, are the kinds of [Christian] bands that you'll find there. Not a whole lot of Relient K, Switchfoot [modern day SF], Steven Curtis Chapman, kind of music happenin there.

Also I remember the Supertones telling a story about one time when they were playing at a bar in Germany.

But to just answer your question, yes.

Relient K plays in a bar in KC and so has one other Christian band I can't think of right now.

Delirious? have done a tour with Jon Bon Jovi if that counts? lol
