Is there such a thing. At the Spirit West Coast, I discovered a college for Christian music majors.. but what about art colleges for Christians?

I'm a graphic design major and I would like to use my skill (the gift God has given me) to tell others about him. I really want to work for Christians or a Christian graphic design firm rather than a regular one.

Hi, Im also a graphic design major, but have not come across an Christian schools for it. Or company's for that matter :/ So I'll subscribe to this incase anyone else knows.

I do know that churches are in need of graphic designers Especially if they have projectors and want to advertise church events. That's always an option for graphic design opportunities, tho I'm sure it wouldn't satisfy as a career. Any other ideas ppl?

I know there are a lot of christian colleges with art programs. Some of them would have better programs than others.
I have no idea about christian colleges that are just art schools though.

I googled a christian college search website. Here it is just in case it might be useful. http://www.christiancollegeguide.net/search/majors.html

@JUSTIN: Yeah, I know some churches have graphic designers work for them in their church. I heard from a few people the pay isn't all that great. I'm not trying to get rich but I would like to make enough.
I've been thinking, working with a Christian magazine sounds fun. I wonder how I can get into that.

@KITTY: Thanks for the site. I'll look into it. In fact, I am now.
So, there are three christian colleges in CA that offers a degree in GD, cool.

Most Chrisian Universities have some sort of Department of the Arts, especially church music...but I can imagine it would be hard to find a school that specializes or even has a graphic design area.

There is one particular Christian college in my area that is well known for it's focus on the arts. Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. It is a rare find because it is one of very few Christian schools in the nation that offer a degree in all four areas of the arts, including Dance/Ballet. Their music department is outstanding!!! And they have a really cool visual arts department from what I hear (I've seen the gallery once!) They are well focused in these area's and I don't know of a lot of people who go there for any other kind of degree.

I toured the campus when I first started looking for schools and it really is beautiful. (But it's not school I decided on because my major has nothing to do with the arts...) You can check them out: http://www.belhaven.edu/

Lol...I don't know why I all of the sudden became their spokesperson for a moment there.......I hope it helps you!
