• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just had to write this because I know how hard it is being depressed on Christmas... I just want to tell everyone that there is hope. Christ is my hope and Christmas is a memorial of His birth, so all rejoice, for He loves you and will NEVER forsake any! ^_^

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and His name shall be called wonderful, counselor, the Mighty God, The EVERLASTING FATHER, the PRINCE OF PEACE!"

No matter what all of us have gone through, we can all look to Christmas as a day of true peace. God loves us so much, He sent His son to us! As a Christian, it just cheers me up every single time that I think about this. God picked the perfect present when He gave us His son! We might be struggling through hard times, bad memories and everything else, but Christmas is just so very special, for it is when part of God's promise to us was fulfilled! Christ is the symbol of God's never ending love towards us, so next time you think yourself worthless or scared, come to God's word. He will speak to you and you will be filled with so much joy this holiday season! God is good all the time and all the time, God is good! I wish you all to just give a great prayer of thanks to God for all of the blessings He has given you. :amen: Hope this has helped in some way! Thanks alot. I just have to say that I think Bojax is right. A good New Year's Resolution would be to fall on God. He is our Saviour and deliverer. With Him, we can not fail! Lily00 :angel:
