Christ was born today

Revelation tells us that Christ was slain before the foundation of the world. Again John tells us in his gospel that before there was anything there was Christ and that all things are created through Him. Today we celebrate His birth that to us happened 2000 years ago. In eternity however it is as if He was born today and the same will be true tomorrow since in eternity there is only “now”. This is why what happened in a little backwater town to some humble little unknown people a long time ago shook all creation. This from its foundation to the time in which the last atom returns to the energy from which it is built. Therefore since Christmas is eternal, let each of us live as though we were standing with the shepherds when they heard: Glory to God in the highest, peace and goodwill to all men” because today Christ Jesus was born

Sorry if I am taking this off topic, but I had a simular though the other day.

God is outside of time looking in.
He is everywhere in time at the same time, so as you said He is at His sons birth all the time.
What I felt was He sees His son suffering on the cross every day too.
