Christ Taken out of Co. Mission Statement

Good Afternoon,

I would ask all of you to refer to my thread i started in May 2009. Entitled "Compromise Anybody." After reading the dialog, please give insight to this update: "My" company (my employer) has lost millions of dollars over the last several months. I am saddened yet not surprised. Even though i do not consider myself Calvinist, it seems the responses i receive, although fewer, are more...lets say biblical. i am preparing an email that i am going to send to our new Pres., and your thoughts on this matter would be appreciated.

My wife and I supported a Christian children's fund for many years. Recently they notified us that they were going to drop the Christian part of their name to appeal to a larger audience. Since those things that we do we do to His glory, we decided that we could no longer support them, even though it was a worthy endeavor. I felt bad that the children were the ones being effected by this. Good works are dead works unless the glory goes to God. We pray that your company reconsiders their decision.

Very Unfortunate. I am wondering is it possible that the sudden loss of funds is a direct result of "Our" omission of Christ's name? I believe this is the case. My father left a note for me on the subject: "Perhaps in our attempt to not offend man, we have offended God." Makes a lot of sense to me.
