MARRIAGE ALI VE MESSAGES:Restoring the wine of marriage

INTRODUCTION:
I am pastor Mrs Roseline Gordon, associate pastor with the Image of God Ministries based in Nigeria. Am married to a pastor, Rev Sam Gordon who is currently in South Africa for mission work.
God has given me the passion and love for marriage to see dignity and joy restore back in marriages - to do these via internent, giving love, liberation, counsel and direction to marriad couples.

TOPIC: CHOOSING A LIFE PARNTER
TEXT: GEN. 2:22
....... made He a woman, and brought her unto the man.
God here was the one that brought Adam's wife to him, the problem today is that we dont allow God to choose for us our Life partner.
What we dont understand, is that God is the A -Z of marriage: so He knows perfectly well what marriage entails.
DISADVANTAGE OF CHOOSING FOR ONESELF
1.Mistake: We are humans, only see the physical, and not the spiritual. God knows every man in and out.Today, so many people that made choices for themself, are regretting; crying "had I know, I would not have married these person". Why, because they found out that, they are no longer getting on fine with each other .
Thise also can lead to divoice. which is not accepted in the sight of God.
Samuel would have made thesame mistake when God asked he to choose a king for Isreal.
He saw the children of Jessey,and almost anointed based on the limit of the eyes,he though the first born could be the right choice based on his phisics but God refused him.God told him that he is not the one, men look at the outward appearance but God look at the inward appearance. This is required in marriage.
2. Sorrow:sorrow and regrets will be the order of the day in such marriage, why, because God is not the foundation of that marriage. There wont be fullfillment and happiness, all these happen because you did not involve God when schoosing your partner.
prov. 5 : 3 ...In all your way acknowledge Him and He will direct your path, including marriage.
3. lack of divine blessing
The Bible says that the "Blessings of God maketh rich and add no sorrow. Marriage is a blessing from God. In marriage you should find solace, hope, happiness, protection and love.etc not orderwise.
So my sisters and brothers: If you want to lead a fullfilled life here on earth, and not have your destiny and that of your children destroyed, allow God to choose for you. God loves you and He wants you to have an blissful marriage.Take time out to pray and seek His will and allow Him to direct you.

In the name of Jesus, Father I ask that you will lead and guide your children in choosing their life partners in Jesus name! Amen. Every spirit of confussion I rebuke it the name of Jesus,Amen.
