  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There they are. We (me, absolutely lost, and Breetai) each selected our top 32 out of all bands that everyone suggested. It worked out nicely that each band that was on 2 or more of our top 32 lists made it in.
dont be upset if your favorite band isnt in - my 3rd fav. the Grateful Dead, didnt even get mentioned. So what. Lets have some fun!
Seedings are 4 brackets of 8 teams each, 1 plays 8, 2 plays 7, 3 plays 6 and so on.
Seeding was pretty difficult because if the bands made it in, then they're pretty good, so some awesome bands WILL be knocked out in the first round. But we won't have anything like Pink Floyd vs. U2 in first round, because they are obviously some of the top bands of the tourney.
Lets get ready to RUMBLE!
