Hi
so if we do not choose God, Jesus, we choose Satan by default. Is this the bottom line?
I'm reading about near death experiences on my kindle. Over and over again I read how some one, an atheist, finds themselves dead and in a cold dark horrific place. They realize their predicament and fortunately remember about the Lord's Prayer and that Jesus exists. They then pray sincerely and get rescued. This means even at that late stage, Jesus WILL come. This is good. It means after death we are still who we are, able to choose. Every moment of our existence we have choice, free will.
The difference is that if we make our choice Jesus Christ while in this life, we gain joy, security, peace and all the help and beauty of knowing Him. No need to struggle alone.
I am living proof of Jesus love. I accepted Jesus as my husband was dying. Since that moment, I have had strength and help beyond my wildest hopes and dreams. I used to be depressed, weak, helpless. My life felt meaningless. With Jesus as my rock I am transformed. But I pray constantly about every aspect of life, I need God every breath I take.
I know I am safe, my soul cannot be harmed by the devil. He no longer has any hold in me. I want to transmit this joy and wonderfulness to others. But I don't know how to start! So I be the best I can be towards everyone and hope they can see I have something they too would like. I wish I was stronger and more brave to proclaim the scriptures more loudly. But I'm a quiet person.
My main point is, I want to help people make that crucial choice, to belong to the light of Jesus instead of being in the chains of darkness of the devil.
