Mary cleaned-out the bird cages earlier
and I am given the job of vacuuming the mess on the carpets

Well, no evening drive. I've decided to stay in... past due on and oil change, past due rotating tires ... bla bla bla.. so probably not a good move. I inspected the hot water heater. it's toast... Now I'm learning all about this little gadget called "shark bite fittings.".. Since money is a bit tight and home repairs are expensive, I'd like to take it slow. If I could just get the lines severed from the hot water heater and capped off, (from my internet searches the little shark bite gadget will help with that. ) then I can have (at least cold tap water for laundry, dishes baths, drinking, cooking and toilet flushing. I'm tired of finding places to fill up buckets of water and bringing them home. sigh.... I will probably run to the hardware store in the morning to learn more about removing my hot water heater. it is in a tight space and it looks like a big one(40 gal). sigh again.Your comments will be interesting...we do not go to malls anymore.

Praying your fix worked and you are luxuriating in a hot bathI'll hopefully be taking my LAST sponge bath. today I will be trying the epoxy fix on my water issue. If it works will be doing laundry at home, if not off to the laundry mat I go. Company later for a few hours in the afternoon, and then if time permits I'd like to take an evening drive to a simi-near-by mall... I'd like to do a little marketing study to watch consumer behavior. (no shopping, just watching.... well maybe a pretzel.. lol
Oh geez...well, good luck and God blessNo it didn't... working on plan two... I think repair work is too expensive right now, I will settle for running water though... The hot water heater is toast. leaking from the bottom, rusted, .... floor damage under it... I need to get it out of there. will most likely be tomorrows project. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. lol

I'm warm, dry and fed, but it feels sometimes like I'm camping out in my home. lol... I have a job for which I am grateful, but it is stressful and times are uncertain.

If my thyroid is behaving and I have no allergies/asthma/headaches, I sleep well

Hubby will be watching the PatsWe are going to watch the Broncos play football this evening...game starts soon...((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))).
Wow, that really is roughing it for our modern way of life...I can live with the electricity off easier than having no running water.
Our recent plumbing expenses were very.."expensive"...the total for both digs came to about $10,000.00...
There will probably be a small one at the bottom of the heater
as in the first example ...
to see it you might need to remove front/ bottom panel on heater
Best of luck
