Today was warm and lovely, so I took a long walk along the lake with Penny.
Then after lunch I had the joy of getting my 2 grandsons after school, and helped them with homework.
Where does the time go...they were just babies yesterday and today they are in 3rd and 4th grades??

I have one granddaughter and another one the way (Due date: January 1, 2012).

Being a grandmother is fun.

I am busy sewing for them. I like to make PJs and slacks.

My next project are those PJs with booties for cold winter nights and mornings.

CONGRATULATIONS! YES, I love being a grandparent. I have four grandsons with hopes of having a granddaughter one of these days. God has richly blessed our family and I give thanks.

I was able to babysit my only grandchild on Tuesday evening. She is 19 months and getting to be a real playmate. She was pretty busy all night and made me feel awesome.
That is a very cute costume Annie.

That is great Jan Baby girls are fun!

My grandsons are active, inquisitive boys, who think it is cool that their 'memere' (french for grandmother)
has a nature collection of animal bones, snake skins, nests etc etc
I will be a great asset to them come science fair time
It was fun caring for them all summer...each day we had a nature study.
Living on a lake, surrounded by forests gave us plenty to explore...and I was in heaven
Nature lover that I am, I don't cringe when they bring a frog (among other things) into the house

We have just one grandchild...I am so thankful for him...he had me laughing so hard last Saturday, my sides were hurting...he is going to be 14 in the spring.

Dave those pictures are so interesting...what beautiful, modern architecture, I would need to take lots of pictures there too. The harp is amazing. I always think of the old buildings in Britain, thanks for showing us the new stuff.

Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen

On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!

At the top of the Senate,
there arose such a clatter

To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.

Do not be deceived in anyway by all this mainstreet architecture and cleanliness

In the streets behind these charades
are post victorian buildings, pre-war and post war buildings and streets
heavily neglected and in deplorable condition

Road maintenance is very low on the council's priority list
~the council are running tenant referendums and surveys
to maybe FOCUS such funds as they want to spare_on the worst/ most necessary
Considering the number of vehicles on the road these days
the revenue from car tax... should be diverted back, to road maintenance

We visit the same area next week _ to go to the theatre "The Snowman"
I will endeavour to provide more- 'insightful' images
